In times of difficulty and uncertainty, every individual encounters moments filled with both grief and yearning. Echoes of Sorrow and Hope showcases the work of the fourth cohort of ADVOT@Ritualwell, a group of ritual innovators who come together to support each other in creating new Jewish rituals, poetry, midrash, memoir and liturgy. The writing in this collection represents the uniqueness of each individual writer, while expressing experiences that have universal connections. The four sections explore: our spiritual connections and sacred conversations, the pursuit of joy and making meaning from our lives, striving for inner balance and connecting to mystical pathways and finding resilience and pursuing justice during this challenging time in the world. With original prayers, poems, songs and reflections, this collection can be used in a variety of contexts, from personal contemplation to synagogue services and beyond.
