From the Depths: Poems, Prayers, & Rituals by Members of ADVOT@Ritualwell (2022/5782)
Along the ever-changing contours of our lives, we cry out to the Divine: in sorrow and celebration, in fear and hope. From the Depths collects the work of the inaugural cohort of ADVOT@Ritualwell, a group of ritual innovators who come together to support each other in creating new Jewish rituals, poetry, and liturgy. Featuring a wide variety of voices speaking from the depths of the human soul, this collection offers comfort, inspiration, and insight. These rituals, poems, and prayers can be used as part of religious services, gatherings, personal contemplation, visiting the sick, funerals, celebrations, and more.

ADVOT@Ritualwell is an online creative community of ritual innovators, poets, and liturgists who meet regularly to share work and support and empower each other to create and innovate Jewish ritual, poetry, and liturgy. Launched in 2021, ADVOT means “ripples” in Hebrew. RIPL (pronounced “ripple”) is the acronym of “Ritual Innovators, Poets, Liturgists.” Thank you to Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah for supporting ADVOT.
