Jewish Healing Flags
Jewish Healing Flags
Judaism has an ancient and strong custom of praying for people who are ill or injured: we include a communal Mi Sheberach prayer at Torah services, visiting the sick in a Bikur Holim, and more. In recent years, a variety of healing prayers and songs have been composed, too. One of these, “Ana El Na Refa Na La,” is based on Moses’ spontaneous cry for his sister, Miriam: “El na, refa na la” – “Please Gd, heal her,” which is featured on the middle flag.
This unique set is composed of 5 individual flags, including the traditional El Na Refa Na La prayer, and evokes healing for body, mind, heart, and soul. Send it to a friend or a family member who is struggling with sickness, to show your support and prayers for their speedy recovery.
