The word “Shekhinah” is Hebrew for The Presence of the Eternal in the world. “Shekhinah” is a feminine noun in Hebrew, which is a gendered language. The Presence is the only feminine noun used for the Eternal in Jewish tradition. The source of the imagery is traditional prayers that ask the Eternal to shelter us under the wings of the Shekhinah.
This amulet can be worn as a pedant on a chain (sold separately), can be added to your Tallit, key chain, and any other place – and keep you always connected to the Divine Presence.
- Color variations: The amulet is available in Sterling silver, yellow bronze and white bronze.
- Weight and size: The Sterling silver amulet weighs 3.2 grams, the yellow bronze 2.5 grams, the white bronze 2.3 grams. Each item is 1.3” wide by 0.85” high.
- Care instructions: Sterling might occasionally need polishing to remove tarnish, like any silver item, but will usually remain bright.
